Clara Muzzio Aligns with Trump on Gender Issues

The Deputy Chief of Government of Buenos Aires, Clara Muzzio, generated controversy by expressing her opinion aligned with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the existence of "only two genders": male and female. Following Trump's inauguration, Muzzio shared on her social media a screenshot of a quote from the US President's speech that supported this position.

Criticism toward Muzzio was swift. From the Civic Coalition, Deputy Maximiliano Ferraro lamented Muzzio's position and recalled her participation in LGBT marches wearing the "pride shirt." Ferraro posted a photo of Muzzio at one of these demonstrations to highlight the contrast between her past actions and her current statement.

Former Culture Minister Pablo Avelluto also joined the criticism, marking Muzzio as part of a supposed "far-right" within the PRO. Furthermore, the Buenos Aires legislator from PRO, Emanuel Ferrario, labeled Muzzio's words as "Flat Earthism," suggesting a retrograde stance regarding gender diversity.
